Labradoodles have great personalities, they are very intelligent because of the poodle and very fun and friendly from the lab. They can be used as gaurd dogs, retrievers, backyard pets or anything else really! They are protective and friendly, a perfect mix of lab and poodle. Labradoodles are truly a wonderful breed.
There are several types of labradoodles.
First Generation: a direct cross of Lab and Poodle. The parents are both pure breds. These dogs vary widely in appearance from straight and lab like to currly and poodle like. They can be any color. They don't shed very much and are fairly hypo-allergenic.
Multi Generational: a labradoodle to a labradoodle. This generation can have a variety of colors and may have some non-shedding characteristics. These dogs are not able to be registered. They are essentially just a very cute mutt!
F1b Generation: these dogs are a first generation labradoodle back to a poodle. They typically have wavy to curly coats in any color and are generally smaller than first generation. These are hypo-allergenic and should not shed. F1b's are considered top of the line labradoodles for their intelligence and playfulnes and hypo-allergenic qualities.
Because they don't shed they need to be groomed occasionally, and brushing helps prevent matting close to the skin, plus its great bonding time for you and the dog!
Labradoodles are a wonderful registerable non-purebred cross between Labrador Retrievers and Standard Poodles.
We are raising F1b generation puppies who we love very much. They are hypo-alergenic and are non-shedding. They are intelligent, adorable, family loving dogs who are incredibly wonderful.
