Do you like our site picture? We sure do. This is a sketch done by a very talented young artist Ms. Kelsey Martin. She has graciously allowed us to advertise her talent on our site.

Here is an opportunity to immortalize a beloved pet with a hand-crafted piece of art work.

 

THE PROCESS

 

The first step in commissioning a pet portrait is to send me a photo of your pet. I will work mainly with one photo so if you have one that you really like that is helpful. I am unable to look at a range of photos and make a pose up.

One really popular potrait styles are multiple pets composed on one peice. Another is to take pictures at different ages and compile them into one piece. Another is different poses of one animal in the same piece, maybe a laying position and sitting and a standing position.

 

I can modify already Existing photos using a computer, This could mean increasing photo quality (to a certain degree), adding, removing, or changing backgrounds, or creating a composite of 2 or more poses or pets in a single piece of art. I can email a computer generated sample of the composite for your approval.

 

Then I will begin work on the actual portrait in the medium and size of your choice. Please see chart.

 

All artwork is done by hand using traditional means. Please give me at least two weeks notice to get your piece done. I will complete artwork in the order that I receive requests.

 

I do not supply frames or framing materials.
