Our Puppies
(F1b Labradoodle)
Our Puppies are pride and joy. They are raised in our home, born in Jessica's bedroom in fact.
We bought Tucker as a puppy when we stopped at a sign on the road because we had no clue what a labradoodle was. Well we fell in love with him and he came home that night. He has turned out to be one of the best dogs we have ever had or known. Since he is such a wonderful dog and we got tired of all our guests threatening to take him home with them, the kids decided that mom was right, we needed more "tucker's" in the world, we bought her Tucker's Little Bailey. Bailey is the sweetest, and most loving dog in the world. She is mega cool, so cool infact poodle haters LOVE her!
Well after being "married" (a friend of the family felt it was only proper), Tuck an Bailey have had 3 beautiful litters together totaling 27 puppies! They are all wonderful and we keep in touch with most of them and enjoy hearing about their lives. We even have some who serve as Service Dogs, and at 12 weeks were alerting people to drops in blood sugar levels! The puppies who are "in the service" excelled at training and were able to be placed with their patients early, now they both work with young childeren who need help walking and with moving in general and also alert them to oncoming seizures.
The pups are born in Jessa's bedroom then once the family is all here we move them down to a special pen in the garage where they have a heating lamp and carpets and a everything else they need and where Bailey has access to them night or day but is still around us. They grow everyday and they grow fast! When they are born they are about 6oz and when they leave at 8 weeks they are about 9 lbs! Around 2 weeks old they start to open their eyes and ears and they start to get really active. At about 3 weeks they usually start to eat big kid food and before you know it they are on hard food.
